Who is wizzcash.com?

wizzcash.com is a trading name of Emergency Cash Limited (ECL), Company Number 07527455. We are authorized and regulated by the FCA – Financial Conduct Authority. ECL is a responsible lender and we will only provide you with a loan if we feel you are able to pay it back.

What loans do we provide?

We provide short-term unsecured loans up to a maximum of £1,000 to UK workers. Our aim is to solve emergency cash flow needs with a short-term affordable solution. The process is fast, convenient and simple as the entire service is online. The application process is straightforward and if approved, the money could be in your account within 60 minutes.

Is this the right loan for me?

wizzcash.com provides a solution for one-off short-term cash requirements. We understand that you may need emergency cash to pay an unexpected bill or an expense that you had not anticipated. Either way, we can help.

What criteria do I need to meet to be eligible for a loan?

You will need to complete the online application form accurately, honestly and in full.

Before applying, you must ensure that you meet the below criteria:

  • Minimum 18 years of age
  • UK resident
  • Take home a minimum of £750 per month
  • UK bank account and debit card associated with it
  • UK mobile number

How much can I borrow?

How much will the loan cost me?

3 Month Loan:
Our interest rate is the equivalent of £24.33 per £100 per month. Interest is charged by the day, so the total cost will be dependent on the exact term of the loan.

The loan will be repaid in equal instalments falling on your next 3 pay days.

If you choose to repay the loan early your total interest will be less. We will not charge you a fee if you choose to repay the loan back early.

When will I receive the money?

2 hours or less. Some banks take longer so please allow up to 72 hours for the money to reach your account.

Will my employer be contacted?

We have to contact your employer but only for the purpose of verifying that you work there. Don’t worry, we will never disclose your loan application to anyone you work with or for. The call is solely to double check the work details you provided us. Should we need to contact you about an open loan and we are unable to contact you via the personal contact details you have provided, we may try and contact you at your place of work. Once again we will only ask to speak to you, and not say why or where we are calling from.

Do I have to send any documents to you?

The application process is 100% online.

In certain cases, we may request back up documentation.

What if I am not successful with wizzcash.com?

In the event that you are not successful, your details will be passed to a loan provider that may be able to find you a suitable alternative. If you would not like to proceed with this option please do not enter any further details and close the window.

Your debit card details will not be passed on to any other company.

What does representative APR mean?

This is the APR that wizzcash.com anticipates offering to 51% or more of our customers.

APR is a lending industry standard calculation that looks at annual repayments costs. Our loans are for a period of 3 months.

Does wizzcash.com require a credit check?

Yes, a credit check is made as part of the decision making process. A number of factors will determine whether your application is successful and the credit check is one of these which is why it’s important that the information you supply is accurate.

Do you lend for any purposes?

No, we provide loans for emergency cash flow problems and not as a long term financial solution.

Please be aware that we can refuse loans if we suspect the application is not for a genuine emergency. Likewise, if we feel the amount is unsuitable for the applicant’s needs.

What if my debit card details have changed or if I have lost my card?

That is not a problem at all, however we will need to receive your new card details over the phone. Please do not email these details to us.

If you have not received your new card, a direct bank transfer can be made the same way you would make any other online transfer. Please email us for the bank details to transfer the funds to – payments@wizzcash.com

Can I apply even if I don’t have a good credit history?

Yes, you can, but please bear in mind we use a number of factors and checks during our decision making process and if you have a poor credit history it may well affect the final decision. If we do decline your application on the basis of credit reference checks, we will inform you of this fact and provide you with contact details of the credit reference agency concerned as required by law.

Will a wizzcash.com loan affect my credit history?

When you repay the loan, your credit history will be updated, confirming that you have settled your loan on time and this is likely to make you a more credible lending proposition to other lending institutions. However, if you are unable to make your repayments on time, this will affect your credit rating and make it more difficult to obtain credit in the future.

How do I pay back my loan?

Our loans are repaid in 3 equal instalments over a 3 month period. We will collect the repayments from your debit account automatically each month on the morning of your pay date, usually the last working day of the month.

Can I pay my loan back early?

Yes. All you need to do is go to ‘my account’  and follow the simple instructions on how to make your payment. You will not be charged any fees for repaying your loan early and you will not be charged interest for the time you did not have the loan.

What happens if I can’t pay back the loan on the due date?

We understand that sometimes events occur that could prevent you from repaying the loan on the specified dates. We may agree, in certain circumstances and subject to the application of our responsible lending criteria, to offer you a repayment plan to make it easier to repay the balance of your loan. We will not charge you a fee for this. However, please also bear in mind that extending the loan might mean that you will end up paying more than you originally agreed to repay. Accordingly, you should only apply to extend your loan as a last resort if you are experiencing financial difficulty. It is therefore, important that you inform us of your hardship circumstances by logging into your account as soon as you realise that you cannot meet the repayment. We will ask how much you can afford to repay and for the interest to be repaid before granting an extension to the repayment period. Please select a new date as to when you intend to repay the loan. Your new loan amount will be shown. We will do as much as we can to take into account your circumstances and attempt to help you as much as possible.
